Pastor Morgan Glenn, the son of Marilyn Glenn and Clyde M. Parks was born on August 6, 1972.  He is the the proud father of Audrianna, Alexander, Jordon and Alton.  He is a graduate of Independence High School.  Pastor Glenn continued his education at Ambassador Christian College in Kannapolis, NC where he earned his Associate Degree in Arts.

 

He entered the ministry at the age of 21.  Pastor Glenn started a radio ministry on 1040AM WSGH.  The Revival Time broadcast aired for five years.  At the age of 28, he received his first pastoral appointment at Smith Grove A.M.E. Zion Church where he remained for two years.  Since that time, he has received other pastoral appointments (Union Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church - 2001, Columbus Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church – 2007, White Rock A.M.E. Zion – 2008, Thomas Chapel A.M.E. Zion – 2012, Sills Creek A.M.E. Zion – 2013, and Torrence Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church – 2018).

 

In 2019, Pastor Glenn received his pastoral appointment at Mowing Glade A.M.E. Zion Church where he is affectionally loved by all.  Numerous ministries have been birthed under his vision to include, the annual Hats, Gloves and Coat Drive, Back to School Extravaganza, Vacation Bible School, a thriving and popular Weekly Bible Study, and ministering to so many through social media.  One of his most notable leadership accomplishments at Mowing Glade is starting the Scholarship fund where the church gives thousands of dollars each year to many students.  Also, through his giving heart the church can donate to other organizations and help many individuals and families in need through our Ministry of Kindness.
